March/April 2008

The ActNatural Customer experience started for British Gas in March, with training and coaching events due to continue for the rest of the month.

Power Train has been appointed by LCH Clearnet and are currently working closely with them to develop a comprehensive Customer Service training programme encompassing ActNatural customer experience and ActNatural leadership and coaching events for their 300 strong IT department.

For Virgin Trains, the 'Just The Ticket?' events targeting new recruits in their Revenue and Protection teams are currently underway.  The Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles division are now in their second month of Roadshows focusing on Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). There has been great feedback so far.

The demand for specialist training solutions continues to grow and Power Train is seeking three new permanent members of staff to ensure continued quality in providing client services. In addition to the three permanent positions, Power Train is also looking for Associate Training Consultants and Associate Actor Consultants - both on a contract basis (typically three to six months in duration).  For more information on all of the current vacancies, or to find out how to apply, click here


January/February 2008

The beginning of the year saw Power Train on the road again delivering the latest phase of a four year training programme for Mercedes-Benz. The show took place in the UK and Europe during its six week run, with a further training and development phase due to be rolled out in March 2008.

January marked the first anniversary of Power Train's very productive relationship with car manufacturer Chrysler. Since the delivery of the first Roadshow for Chrysler back in January 2007 the relationship has gone from strength to strength, empowering Chrysler managers towards even greater levels of customer satisfaction.

Power Train was an exhibitor at The European HR Directors Business Summit; one of the key events in the Human resources calendar, this event was held in January at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.


November/December 2007

Cross Country Trains started working with Power Train to develop a new training programme for their assessment centres. Virgin Atlantic Airway's Flight Operations Division commissioned Power Train to undertake a training programme diagnostic for them.

Power Train began work with Virgin Media in an ongoing programme to design a new customer experience programme. In November 2007 Power Train delivered a HR shared services customer experience programme for Nationwide, while Mercedes-Benz retailers enjoyed the benefits of the Power Train Customer Satisfaction road shows.


September/October 2007

Power Train worked with Bradford and Bingley to take their group operations team through the ActNatural Leadership and Directors Cut Event that was held in October 2007. NI Railways turned to Power Train to take their new starters through the ActNatural Customer Experience and Leadership Programme to great effect. In September 2007 Power Train delivered regional ActNatural Assessment and Development training days for Virgin Trains. Also in September the leadership and coaching programme for Fiat Auto UK management began.


July/August 2007

Virgin Atlantic Airways appointed Power Train to deliver the ActNatural Customer Experience and ActNatural Leadership programme to its staff. Power Train began the Customer Experience training programme for Fiat Auto UK customer relations staff. The AWD Group worked with Power Train to evolve an effective appraisal skills training programme to deliver to their team managers.
Power Train developed for the Simons Group Ltd a programme of Health and Safety induction training to rollout to site maintenance staff across all their national office locations.
July 2007 saw another of the regular 'top up' training sessions Mercedes-Benz offer to all their new staff as a part of their induction process. The Mortgage Processing, Credit Collections and Group Operations departments at Bradford and Bingley took part in ActNatural Leadership training programmes.

- John Webber has recently appeared in an episode of Eastenders, playing Felix Riley, a loan shark.
- Sally Orrock has recently appeared in an episode of Holby City. She has also just finished a UK tour of 'Sing Yer Heart Out for the Lads' in which she played Gina.
- Michael Hobbs can be seen playing the roles of Treebeard and Bill Ferny in Lord of the Rings at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
