Associate Event Design Specialist(s)
Excellent fee rates, must be based in the Bristol area.
Power Train is one of the UK’s most innovative and successful training and communication consultancies. Our radical approach sees us create business critical programmes and events that connect with people emotionally, intellectually and commercially.
From complex training roll-outs to country-wide roadshows, we develop and deliver pioneering solutions that blend our unique concepts of Total Reality®, ActNatural® and Emotional Impact. Our excellent track record has been built around an expanding client base that includes names like Mercedes-Benz, Virgin Media, Aviva Health, British Gas and Scottish Widows. You can find out about these by looking through the case studies on our website.
So what are we looking for?
In order to meet an increasing, often short notice demand for imaginative but focused conference and roadshow inputs designed to deliver highly specific business messages, we need to increase our creative talent pool. We are seeking freelance event design specialists who can interpret a client’s brief then design a solution that excites, inspires, surprises and – most importantly of all – delivers an exceptional business result. It’s a big challenge. One that will see you create and write formats, rehearse and coach presenters and actors, drive quality and work closely with suppliers including production companies and AV specialists.
Just a word of warning – Total Reality® means that, although highly imaginative, Power Train events and inputs are totally business focused and never ‘off the wall’. In other words, we don’t do metaphorical exercises like ‘corporate drumming’, fire-walking or karate demonstrations. So if you like that type of approach, you won’t like us.
What else do you need to know?
Apart from fees, which we’ll discuss when we meet, you’ll need to be based in Bristol and must be flexible enough to travel throughout the UK and possibly Europe when required.
The next step? Browse through our website and if you think you’re up to it, tell us why in your covering letter and send with your CV to michelle.goodfellow@powertrain.co.uk.
