Can you tell us briefly what you do at Power Train?

I wear many hats! I look after the commercial side of our work with clients including contract negotiation. As a Chartered Accountant, I am responsible for the finances of Power Train. I also look after our IT and deal with legal and property matters.

What attracted you to work for Power Train?

I enjoy the breadth of my role and the passion that Power Train has for delivering solutions that enhance our clients’ brand.

What is your most memorable Power Train moment?

There are a few but I would highlight being persuaded to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” at our Christmas party one year. Unfortunately for everyone else, it seems to have become a regular feature each year!

What are your favourite past times/hobbies?

Keeping up with the England Cricket Team on Test Match Special, cooking with food I’ve grown in my veg patch, and trying to keep up with my two boys on their Nintendo Wii!

What’s the best thing, and the worst thing, about working for Power Train?

The best thing is the continual drive to get great results for our clients. The worst thing is the frustration when sometimes we can’t seem to get there quickly enough – but we usually get there in the end.
