Can you tell us briefly what you do at Power Train?
I design the creative elements of a client project, including scenarios, sets, films and rehearsing the actors.
I help pitch new and engaging ideas to clients and often present at large conferences.
What attracted you to work for Power Train?
I wanted to work for a company that was doing something different, I vaguely remember saying that “I wanted to work for Power Train so much, that I would do it for free” (that's changed now...).
What is your most memorable Power Train moment?
Working on two very different retail clients in the same month - New Look and Harvey Nichols handbag department.
Conducting a rehearsal for a German client, with German actors speaking in German!
Training car hire personnel at Nice airport to be nice to the British!
What are your favourite past times/hobbies?
As Mum to a figure skater and a rock drummer, my shopping habits have been severely curtailed. If left to own devices I like to sit in the garden and read.
What’s the best thing, and the worst thing, about working for Power Train?
The best thing is working for a truly diverse range of clients. The worst is that delivering events can be exhausting, so you need to make sure that you have some space either side of the training to prepare and to recover afterwards!
