Can you tell us briefly what you do at Power Train?
I look after several key clients from Power Train's portfolio. As soon as a new client is assigned, I will manage all aspects of the assignment. I am responsible for ensuring successful implementation of a project from start-up right through to evaluation and getting those all-important sustainable results for my clients.
What attracted you to work for Power Train?
I've always had a desire to develop people especially in the arena of behavioural change. After working in the field of Learning and Development for ten years, much of the time delivering Management Development training, I grew slightly disheartened by the fact the training didn't stick in the long term. After working for a spell in the technology industry as a Programme Manager, I decided it was time to go back to my roots and find a company with a passion for changing people's hearts and minds to get better results for themselves and the companies they work for. Power Train was the company that could deliver on the promises I wanted to make to clients.
What is your most memorable Power Train moment?
I think one of my most memorable moments in my time at Power Train was seeing one of our Actor Consultants dressed up as a version of Borat in a 'mankini' for one of our 'Leaderboard' team knowledge quizzes.
What are your favourite past times/hobbies?
In the small amount of spare time that I get apart from my very energetic five year old daughter, you will either find me speeding down country lanes on my motorbike or busting some work-week stress in Body Combat classes.
What’s the best thing, and the worst thing, about working for Power Train?
Best thing about working at Power Train is being out and about on the road meeting with my variety of clients. No two are the same and I love the diversity of organisational cultures out there. I love to feel part of their teams! The worst thing is the commute and parking. Luckily I'm an early bird so the mornings are no problem for me… Unfortunately the same can't be said about my daughter!!!
